We are taking a major step to highlight West Sweden as a top culinary region, and of course we’re doing it together with Smaka på Västsverige – the network that helps visitors discover local food, authentic ingredients and unique dining experiences from across the region.
At GRILLAT, Smaka på Västsverige will be featured alongside 20 of their producers, showcasing the very best that West Sweden has to offer. As a visitor, you’ll have the opportunity to explore flavourful products and meet passionate food and beverage producers who work closely with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Smaka på Västsverige is more than just a collection of food – it’s a guide to the most genuine restaurants, cafés and culinary experiences in the Västra Götaland region, where locally produced ingredients, sustainability and high quality are at the heart of everything. We are incredibly proud to welcome them as a partner at GRILLAT.

Here you will meet the producers who are passionate about quality, craftsmanship, and seasonal ingredients.

chilijossan
Josefin, who runs the company ChiliJossan, is based in Vedum. She has a farm where most of the cultivation consists of chili, but also many other delicious products.

cityysteriet
Sweden’s first and only urban craft dairy. We bring cheesemaking into the city, focusing on soft dessert cheeses.

draculavin
Daniel crafts artisanal wines from wild, hand-picked Nordic berries. With minimal intervention in the process, each berry is allowed to speak for itself, resulting in unique wines with depth, character, and a strong sense of place.

ehrenhofer gård
Ehrenhofer Gård is run by John-Fredrik and Eva-Maria and produces apple cider and game meat. The farm has a cider house, farm shop, butchery, and catering kitchen, as well as hunting dog breeding.

fustin olivolja
The company was founded after a unique tasting experience in Primošten, Croatia. The oil comes from the family’s own production and is sold on a small scale in Sweden. The bottles are filled and packaged by hand in Landvetter, outside Gothenburg.

green life kombucha
Green Life Kombucha is a handcrafted, organic kombucha from a small brewery in Alingsås. Made in small batches with natural ingredients of the highest quality, the flavors are continuously developed with exciting new combinations. It can be enjoyed as a health drink, thirst-quencher, or non-alcoholic sparkling beverage.

gäsene mejeri
Ever since the dairy was founded, we have been making cheese from milk produced on our own farms in the Gäsene district, in the area around Ljung. All of our farms are located within 25 minutes of the dairy. That’s what we at Gäsene Mejeri call locally produced.

hotell dahlia
Hotell Dahlia’s marmalades are small-batch, hand-cooked preserves from Hedefors bruk outside Gothenburg. Made with carefully selected, often local ingredients, they combine classic and creative flavors – sometimes with a touch of chili – perfect as a companion to cheese and other delicacies.

iceblu
ICEBLU works to make seaweed from Bohuslän a natural part of our diet. The company collaborates with local seaweed farmers and offers products based on sea lettuce and sugar kelp – nutritious and sustainable ingredients from Swedish waters. ICEBLU was launched in 2024 and is based in Gothenburg’s fish market.

klocktornet destilleri
Klocktornet Destilleri is a small-scale craft distillery in Bohuslän and one of Sweden’s smallest. They produce award-winning gin, vodka, and snaps using local West Coast ingredients with a strong passion for craftsmanship, food, and flavor.

The company offers fusion products combining Ghanaian-inspired flavors with Nordic influences. The range includes spices, sauces, and meal bases in small batches with natural ingredients, designed to make cooking simple, flavorful, and sustainable.

lödöse musteri
At a farm in Hönebäck outside Lödöse, artisanal beverages are produced with a family tradition dating back to the 1850s. The core product is freshly pressed and pasteurized apple juice, and during autumn, visitors can also press their own apples.

quna
Quna is a microbrewery in Mölnlycke outside Gothenburg that has produced handcrafted kombucha of the highest quality since 2021. The drink is unpasteurized to retain all beneficial live bacteria, combining health with great taste.

sammels lantgård
Sammels Lantgård in Bertshult outside Landvetter is a fifth-generation family farm focused on forestry, agriculture, and small-scale production. The farm includes a farm shop, café, garden, and furniture workshop, selling everything from homegrown vegetables, fruit, and eggs to lamb skins, apple juice, and marmalades.

samson organic coffee
Samson Organic Coffee offers organic specialty coffee that is good for the body, fair for farmers, and gentle on the planet. The beans are carefully selected, 100% organic, and roasted with precision to highlight the natural flavor and origin.

såseriet
Is a small-scale company from Gamlestaden in Gothenburg producing fermented chili sauces with a focus on quality, balance, and authentic craftsmanship. The range includes mild to very hot sauces, all vegan and gluten-free, with both classic and experimental flavors.
