Our history

So, how did GRILLAT spark to life? Picture this: a bunch of colleagues gathered around the grill, smoke curling into the evening sky, laughter bouncing between bites of juicy food. That’s when the idea hit us—why not blend our talent for creating epic events with our love for the grill?

What followed was months of planning, thousands of calls, and endless hours of fine-tuning. The result? The very first GRILLAT Expo at Eriksbergshallen. Under a blazing May sun, thousands of barbecue lovers streamed in, tasting, sipping, and soaking up every moment. From the latest grills and gadgets to mouthwatering bites hot off the coals—it was a weekend to remember.

The energy was so good, we couldn’t stop there. In 2025, we fired it up again—this time on both coasts. Two incredible weekends, two legendary venues, and thousands of happy, hungry visitors later, GRILLAT was officially on the map. Big thanks to everyone who made it unforgettable.

At GRILLAT, you don’t just walk through an expo—you taste it. Over a hundred exhibitors are bringing this season’s hottest products, plus plenty of food fresh off the grill. Think smoky steaks, tender chicken, seafood straight from the fire, and yes—flavorful vegetarian creations too. And because no feast is complete without a drink in hand, you’ll find breweries and winemakers pouring the perfect pairings all weekend long.
